How do i start a school organization/club?

I am a high school senior now and when i was a freshman, there was a club called the GSA, or Gay Straight Alliance. When the founding member graduated in 2008, the club stopped. I want to start the club up again for this school year and have no clue how to start it. What should i do and how should i go about doing it?

    Talk to a principal or counselor/adviser

    I think every club has an official adviser, a teacher or administrator who supports the student(s) in getting the program up and running, and supporting its overall functions. Have some ideas about what kinds of things you would like to do in the club with its member and then talk to your guidance counselor. I would suggest having an “adviser” by that time so the counselor sees that you’ve already taken the steps towards making this a reality. Good luck!!
